She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed in the Fountain County Section of Local History at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

ROACHDALE – Ernest Leo Arnold, 74, died at the Veterans Hospital at 3 p.m. Tuesday. A veteran of World War I, he was born Sept. 24, 1890, in Ladoga to Thomas and Lorna May Terry Arnold. Survivors include three nieces, Mrs. Juanita Todd and Mrs. Marcella Wolden, both of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Ruth Nichols of Chicago, a nephew, Virgil Layne of Roachdale. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale. Rev. Ray Britton will officiate. Burial will be in the Harshbarger Cemetery north of Ladoga. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. – jlr
